Friday = Honk, Cheer and Wave Weekend!

Mornin Cali!  Since I'm up . . . a tad bit early . . . I'm just reminding everyone that the 3 Day in San Diego starts this morning . .. from Del Mar, through Torrey Pines, down to Crown Point - that is just today!

Paula is now a Boobie Bandit too . . . and I have her hat and jacket ready for her since we are both working the streets (hahaha - ok . . . directing traffic) today and tomorrow - and doing shuttle duty on Sunday!  Can't wait to be part of this again - and hoping it doesn't REALLY drizzel on us! (well on the walkers!)  It's going to be chilly nights . . . they don't need to camp in the rain too!

Good Morning Chris,

My goodness it is Friday.  Another day closer to when hubby is retiring.  The county is having a big wingding for the old dude and I am so looking forward to it.  I can't wait to be sitting there looking at those people that have made his life miserable enough to make him do this.  He really wanted to work till 70, but we know it's time.  Oh well just a few more weeks, then we are free to do as we please.

It's been really fun having Becky here.  We spent yesterday, ALL DAY, on our laptops.  Her sitting not 5 feet from me, and at times not even chatting with each other we were so busy playing games, or whatever.  I made some chicken noodle soup for dinner last night.  Everyone has the sniffles and thought it would be a good idea to see if we can get some of that magic healing powers that comes with the soup.  Becky is a lot of fun, and I love her dearly.  This place has some awesome people.  I don't know where I would be if it weren't for the people around here who helped me get through all those tough time throughout the years when I was myself was a newbie,

Chris you know I'm with you in spirit as well as my Mom who went with you on your walk in Seattle  I hope you have a wonderful time.

Ah it's Friday and the rain is expected to hit sometime around noon.  We so need it and as long is it stays away during my commutes I will be happy.  I'm not too sure why but the traffic has been horrendous coming home each day this week.... UGH.

Had a wonderful rehearsal last night, I love it when stuff starts getting under my fingers really well.

Hey Chris, you need to tell your Son about San Jose Saxophone Christmas, here is the website...http://www.sjsaxmas.com/  I play in it every year.  In some years we've had as many as 300 sax players all playing christmas carols and we put on two concerts on one day.  It's a blast and we sure do have fun with it. We sax players are alla little crazy anyway.  And if any of my OH friends want some Christmas cheer, we'll be playing on Dec. 19, 2pm at Santana Row and 4:30 p.m. at Cupertino Square (formerly Vallco Fashion Park).  I'm the crazy one with the Santa hat and the tenor sax, oh huh, that's most of us.  Well, if you're coming just PM me and I will send you my cell phone LOL

This weekend, is our Nor Cal luncheon tomorrow WHOO HOO and I get to paint some new yard art to add to the village, 4 new pieces (can't wait.)

Time to hit the shower and begin the day.

I hope all is well with everyone!  Diane I think you and your gal pal over there are going to have to attend a 12 step group for facebook junkies!  lol.  

Chris I will be a waving and  a honking but I doubt if anyone will hear me from up here but it is worth a shot.

Today I am getting to do what I love best hiking with my Dog, She is already exited as she saw me packing her back this morning!

Good morning Chris and Cali,

I am so glad it is Friday, but my staff is going home today and I will be on my own next week.  It does not make sense to have them come for three days.  I have to try and get Ms V's physical for school.  I did not realize they needed a form filled out.  I dropped it off last night, hopefully I can get it back before Wednesday.  We will be gone after that until Sunday.

It is strange not planning dinner for thanksgiving, but we did have our turkey last week so I feel OK.  This is the first time in I don't know how long since I have not made anything on thanksgiving day!

Good Morning all!  We're still waiting on puppies.  Y'all know how it is - babies take their own sweet time in coming.  I swear she's waiting until Jayden gets here tonight to share the miracle of birth with him. 

I scoot to pick him up tonight.  We have a major storm coming in today with cold temps, lots of water and wind.  Snow in the mountains which is why I love my Sequoia and her 4X4!  I can go just about anywhere.  Decent tires, and good wiper blades and we're good to go!

I am in the hot seat for call-out until Monday Nov 30th as my cell-mate is on vacation.  So, I 've got a sitter lined up for Jayden in case I get called in.  Contingencey plans for everything!!!
